The Opportunity:

As our General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our leadership team overseeing our core business operations including project management, estimating, and coordinating. Your focus will be ensuring the business runs like a well-oiled machine, supporting teams to hit their targets and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

You'll bring strategic oversight, people leadership, and operational excellence, ensuring we remain efficient, profitable, and aligned with our values.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Drive execution of our strategic plan to deliver strong outcomes for clients and stakeholders
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking and profitability
  • Lead, mentor and inspire department heads and their teams
  • Streamline business activities to increase performance and drive innovation
  • Foster a strong team culture aligned with our core values
  • Set and monitor company goals for performance and sustainable growth
  • Continuously improve internal systems and workflows
  • Build solid relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Review and interpret performance data to inform better business decisions
  • Empower junior leaders through coaching, support, and development
  • Diversify revenue streams by bringing in other areas of work and clients
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading business operations and driving growth
  • Background in business strategy, leadership, and people management
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of how to drive profitability
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder
  • A passion for leadership, mentoring, and building culture
  • Not necessarily from construction but curious and keen to learn how we operate
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic planner with sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with passionate and innovative founders who still work within the business
