Overview

Accounts & Admin Position at Illawarra Mercury

We are a local family dairy farm business looking for a reliable, organised and responsible staff member to work in our on farm office in Accounts and Admin.

This position should see you perform a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Daily monitoring of incoming emails
  • Collate supplier invoices and reconcile supplier accounts
  • Weekly Payroll
  • General admin duties including: data entry, filing, scanning, answering phone calls, collecting and sorting of mail etc.
  • Assisting and learning the requirements of compliance/auditing in various parts of the business
  • Running errands
  • General office support across all parts of the farm business
  • Depending on experience assisting with HR requirements
Requirements
  • Experience with general computer skills and use of programs such as: Excel, Word, Email, MYOB (or similar)
  • Ability to work both independently and also communicate and work well with others
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A keen interest to learn new skills as the job may require

This is a full time position with pay based on experience.
