Remuneration: $43.23 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your role

As a Supported Living Facilitator, you'll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make daily living easier for the people we care for. Let's make a difference, together.

Your part in our UnitingCare team

• Work in partnership with the person being supported, their family and informal support networks to attain the hopes and aspirations they have established for their lives.
• Provide support to people in their everyday living situations, including personal care as identified, with an emphasis on choice and quality of life.
• Participate in the development, implementation and review of individual plans that focus on the life hopes and aspirations of people.
• Enable people to attain personal autonomy over their own lives and the services they receive.
• Recognise and uphold the right to respect, privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the person being supported and their family.

What makes a difference for us?

• Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers.
• Flexible (varied hours and days) and reliable to meet the needs of the people we support.
• Able to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
• Experience in Disability, Aged and Community sectors is ideal but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card (required before you start).
• OpenDriver's License; and
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (required before you start).
