Overview

Permanent part-time positions are available to work with the community care team in metropolitan Melbourne. Locations include Pakenham, Narre Warren and Cranbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Support people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, community participation and companionship.
  • Assist with personal care, mobility support and medication prompting when required.
  • Support clients to achieve goals in partnership with other support networks.
  • Promote customer choice, positive routines and meaningful activities for clients.


What you will bring
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desirable but not essential).
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle.
  • Ability to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency with technology such as smartphones, email and internet.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
