The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Member Servicing & Proposition, you'll take ownership of their Insurance Proposition — designing, delivering, and optimising insurance products and services that support member growth, retention, and trust.

You'll be the driving force behind:

  • Developing and refining the insurance strategy to ensure it's fit for purpose across the member lifecycle.
  • Managing end-to-end claims processes — ensuring compassion, transparency, and efficiency at every stage.
  • Building strong partnerships with the Group Life Insurance Provider and other key stakeholders.
  • Enhancing the member experience through education, clear communication, and service excellence.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and you'll be central to improving outcomes for members during some of life's most challenging moments.

What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who can combine insurance expertise with a member-first mindset. Ideally, you will have:

  • 5–7 years' experience in claims management (life insurance, superannuation, or financial services).
  • Strong understanding of Death, TPD, and Income Protection claims processes.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling product and service propositions.
  • Experience managing outsourced service providers and negotiating high-quality outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with empathy at the core.
  • RG146 certification (essential) and a relevant degree in Finance, Commerce, or similar (preferred).
