Senior Drone/RPAS Operator

AUAV is seeking a senior RPAS operator and project manager based at our Melbourne Head Office (Cheltenham). The role is ideal for individuals looking to advance their career in drone inspection and/or survey services with a dedicated team. Although based in Cheltenham, there will be field data capture, and travel throughout Australia with opportunities to work in our other offices (UK and US).
Responsibilities- Delivery of complex drone data projects including, but not limited to: power, oil and gas, solar farms, wind farms, LiDAR and photogrammetry surveys, fauna/environmental surveys, etc.
- CasA issued RePL
- Experience with confined space drones (Elios, ScoutDI, etc.)
- LiDAR capture
- Working in remote locations
- Collection of data for large 3D photogrammetry models
- Experience in project management and liaising with clients
- BVLOS remote operations
- 4WD recovery training
- Qualifications in survey or asset integrity inspection
- BOSIET
- MSIC
- Experience with field data capture and project management
- Ability to travel across Australia and to other AUAV offices as required
