About your opportunity

As a Project Manager in Directed Services, not only will you be at the helm of delivering a variety of projects, including renewals, refurbishments, and improvements on our network, but you'll be part of a team environment that is highly supportive, growth minded, committed to excellence and thrives on collaboration.

From the very start of the project lifecycle, you\'ll take charge of managing the design, tender, and delivery phases. You\'ll be responsible for ensuring that all projects and programs follow Seqwater's processes, systems, and procedures, while delivering exceptional results.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the delivery of directed services water infrastructure projects and programs within the asset improvement program, ensuring they are delivered on scope, on time, on budget and to specification (with a capital value of up to $3 million).
  • Oversee, Monitor and report on key project metrics whilst providing guidance to teams and senior management to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Oversee and manage procurement processes, contract compliance, and provide site supervision (as Superintendent's Representative) of construction contractors, when required to ensure best-value outcomes.
  • Lead and manage projects through all phases of the Seqwater Project Management Lifecycle and Governance Framework.
About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary or trade qualification in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Qualifications in Project Management (Highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of infrastructure projects/programs and supervising consultants and contractors (Water industry Highly desirable).
  • Strong demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly the ability to consult, negotiate and coordinate
  • Demonstrated experience in Contract/contractor Management, end to end procurement of services and sourcing strategies
  • Current C Class driver's licence and Construction White Card
  • Alignment with Seqwater values

This position has a base salary range of $122,730.25 - $133,528.77 dependant on experience p.a. plus 12.75% superannuation. Shift and overtime allowances may also apply.

Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically deemed ineligible. Each application will be considered on its merits.
