Accounts Receivable Officer

Vonex is a leading telecommunications provider of Voice, Mobile and Internet services. With a strong commitment to delivering cutting-edge technologies and outstanding customer service, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on the Gold Coast.

The main purpose of the Accounts Receivable role is to oversee the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and payments, ensuring effective credit control, maintaining up-to-date debtor records, and supporting the organisation's cash flow and financial reporting objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry and maintenance of customer billing information
  • Processing high volume invoice runs
  • Client and billing system account reconciliations
  • Conducting and assisting with regular audits and reporting
  • Collaboration with internal teams and third parties to assist with system improvements
  • Other general administration duties as required e.g. overflow calls, relief reception.
Demonstrated Skills and Abilities
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is paramount.
  • Strong computer literacy, especially with Email, Internet, Word & Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly and professional phone manner with customer service focus.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • The ability to work autonomously, self-manage and display a high level of motivation.
  • Willingness to take instruction, follow set procedures, work as a part of a team, and assist other teams as required.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years in a similar role is a strong advantage.
