About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this full-time Accounts Receivable / Book Keeping role is based in our Yatala, QLD office. You will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function and supporting the overall financial operations of OneCrew, a leading accounting and business advisory firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Invoicing clients and managing the accounts receivable process, including issuing statements, following up on overdue payments, and reconciling accounts
  • Performing bank reconciliations and other general book-keeping tasks
  • Providing support to the Finance team with month-end and year-end reporting
  • Assisting with credit control and maintaining healthy cash flow
  • Liaising with clients to resolve billing and payment queries
  • Providing administrative support to the broader finance and accounting functions as required

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years' experience in an accounts receivable or book-keeping role, preferably within a professional services or accounting firm
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems (experience with MYOB or Xero would be advantageous)
  • Sound understanding of accounts receivable processes, credit control, and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field would be highly regarded
