About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry.
This role will be based in our North Sydney Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to secure new business.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote Minetek's products and services.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience in the mining or related industry.
- Strong understanding of mining operations, technologies, and industry challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
