OverviewOpportunity to join Liebherr Australia as an apprentice Mechanical Fitter (Engineering) so you can earn while you learn. You will undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical), gaining hands-on experience and mentoring from highly skilled professionals. This 4-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills needed to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter. Our Apprenticeship Program offers comprehensive training and ongoing support, empowering you to reveal and discover your full potential.
Key Details- Start Date: 13 January 2026
- Location: Para Hills West facility, featuring an on-site café, quarterly staff lunches and free parking
- Conduct detailed examinations of a wide range of mining equipment components using specialist tools and equipment
- Carrying out the complete process of remanufacturing large mining components, including disassembly, condition assessment, refurbishment, assembly and testing
- Passion for learning, enthusiasm, pride, and high attention to detail
- Positive attitude, problem solver, and strong safety commitment
- Driver's License and ability to commute to the facility
- Completed year 11 before January 2026
- Full working rights in Australia
- Certificate II or pre-apprenticeship course in a relevant field (highly desirable)
