Overview

Opportunity to join Liebherr Australia as an apprentice Mechanical Fitter (Engineering) so you can earn while you learn. You will undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical), gaining hands-on experience and mentoring from highly skilled professionals. This 4-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills needed to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter. Our Apprenticeship Program offers comprehensive training and ongoing support, empowering you to reveal and discover your full potential.

  • Location: Para Hills West facility, featuring an on-site café, quarterly staff lunches and free parking
What You Will Learn As An Apprentice Mechanical Fitter
  • Conduct detailed examinations of a wide range of mining equipment components using specialist tools and equipment
  • Carrying out the complete process of remanufacturing large mining components, including disassembly, condition assessment, refurbishment, assembly and testing
About You
  • Passion for learning, enthusiasm, pride, and high attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, problem solver, and strong safety commitment
  • Driver's License and ability to commute to the facility
  • Completed year 11 before January 2026
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Certificate II or pre-apprenticeship course in a relevant field (highly desirable)
