The Opportunity

Join Liebherr Australia as an apprentice Electrical Fitter so you can earn while you learn

You will undertake a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, gaining hands-on experience and mentoring from our highly skilled professionals. This 4-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills needed to become a qualified Electrical Fitter. Our Apprenticeship Program offers comprehensive training and on-going support, empowering you to reveal and discover your full potential.

  • Start Date: 12th January 2026
  • Location: Para Hills West facility, featuring an on-site café, quarterly staff lunches and free parking

What you will learn as an Apprentice Electrical Fitter

  • Set up testing, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
  • Carry out diagnostics & troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Work on electric drive truck high voltage systems.
  • Carry out the complete process of remanufacturing large mining components, including disassembly, condition assessment, refurbishment, assembly and testing

About you

  • Passion for learning new things, enthusiasm, sense of pride, high attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, problem solver and a high commitment to safety
  • Driver's License and access to transport to and from the facility
  • Completed year 11 before January 2026
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Certificate II or pre-apprenticeship course in a relevant field (highly desirable)
