Location: Brisbane or Adelaide (some travel required)

We're seeking an experienced Analytics Translator to join our team and act as the "voice of the business," bridging the gap between clients and multidisciplinary delivery teams (data science, data engineering, front-end). In this role, you'll work autonomously to understand client needs, advise on value-adding solutions, translate requirements into clear scopes of work, and guide projects to successful delivery and adoption.

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who knows how to balance and align technical solutions with business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagement to uncover business problems, strategic objectives and analytics opportunities
  • Advise clients on solution options, expected value and realistic outcomes
  • Translate requirements into user stories, wireframes and functional specifications for technical teams (e.g. Data Science, Data Engineering and Front-end Engineering teams)
  • Partner with delivery leads to ensure projects meet scope, quality and timelines
  • Act as the "voice of the business" within agile, multidisciplinary teams
  • Drive stakeholder management at senior levels (GM and above), managing expectations and fostering trust
  • Contribute to internal frameworks and best practices for analysis, communication and adoption
  • Mentor and coach junior team members
Required Experience & Skills
  • 7+ years in roles such as Performance Improvement consulting, Product Owner/Manager, Business Analysis or Lean Process Analysis.
  • Demonstrated track record in an AI, data science or analytics solutions, delivering end-to-end outcomes
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, advising clients on priorities, value and delivery trade-offs
  • Strong stakeholder management, with experience engaging GM-level or above executives
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methods and working alongside data scientists, data engineers and front-end developers
  • Excellent business communication skills, including structured frameworks (e.g. pyramid principle)
  • Experience crafting user stories, wireframes and functional specs
  • Background in a Big 4 or comparable professional services advisory role, liaising directly with clients
  • Hybrid experience combining two or more of the key disciplines (BA, Product Owner, Lean Process, Advisory)
  • Demonstrated understanding of how Agents / Generative AI can be used to solve business problems
