
Physiotherapist - APM Graduate program (Start ASAP)

Support clients' return to work and life after injury as a Graduate Physiotherapist in APM's two-year program, with diverse clinical and professional development opportunities.
Your roleResponsibilities
- Providing initial rehabilitation assessment and rehabilitation planning to assist clients with physical injuries and secondary psychosocial barriers to participate in Graduated Return to Work Programs
- Providing case management for clients with return to same employment or transition to new employment
- Providing services within job description and clinical scope of practice including, but not limited to: worksite assessments, functional capacity evaluations, home, office, and vehicle ergonomic assessments
- Delivering injury prevention training relevant for customer need
- Completing work task analyses and preparing job dictionaries
- Coordinating a holistic treatment approach for the client's condition, regularly liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust rehabilitation plans as needed
- In conjunction with the treating medical team, assessing and making recommendations regarding clients' physical health and wellbeing, and medical conditions on ability to work
- Writing detailed case notes and reports
- Working with veterans to support their psychosocial, medical and vocational goals
- Working across multiple state- and national-based insurance schemes, and with self-insured employers
- Being trained to deliver the Virtual Reality Empowered Pain program for clients with persistent pain presentations
Qualifications

- Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy (graduate level)
- Desire to work in a multidisciplinary allied health team
