What does the job look like?

This is a 12-month max-term contract position (Parental leave replacement) for a highly experienced and influential Senior HR Business Partner.

You will play a pivotal role in partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation to provide expert HR advice, drive key initiatives and support the development of our people, across support services. Your primary focus will be to support the delivery of the human resources plan by leading initiatives in talent management, employee development, engagement, organisational design, and coaching. You will collaborate closely with leadership teams to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring the optimal implementation of HR solutions to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • People Solutions: Partnering with senior management to build and implement HR solutions that align with business goals, driving improvements in talent management, retention, and engagement.
  • Advisory & Support: Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, such as Talent Acquisition, Workplace Relations, and Organisational Development, to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Report on and analyse HR data to provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in performance management processes including setting and reviewing performance objectives and implementing performance improvement plans.
  • Talent Development: Drive succession planning and career development initiatives. Guide managers om employee development programs, coaching ad mentoring to build strong, high performing workforce.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced HR generalist with a proven track record in business partnering, especially at a senior level within large, complex environments. Ideally, you bring experience from logistics or heavy industries, where you've successfully driven HR initiatives to improve business outcomes and foster a high-performance culture. Your strengths include:

  • Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Strong planning and analysis skills, with a focus on driving continuous improvement in performance and people-related initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate complex HR challenges, including managing employee relations and driving change initiatives.
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build credibility across the organisation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • Experience: Proven business partnering experience in senior HR roles with focusing on performance management, talent management, and driving organisational change.
  • Knowledge: Deep knowledge of HR principles, relevant legislation, and contemporary HR practices.
  • Influencing skills: Proven experience in the ability to influence at a senior level, always demonstrating your professionalism and alignment to Linfox values.
