Experience- A relevant tertiary qualification (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar commercial role
- Previous experience in the Brisbane commercial fitout or construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of Procore (essential) and other contracts/accounts management software
- A solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to support hybrid roles or develop toward Project Management
- Experience working with a Principal Contractor and understanding of contractual obligations
- As Contract Administrator, you\'ll play a pivotal role in supporting our project delivery team by:
- Reporting to the Operations and Project Managers with consistent project updates
- Administering all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects
- Managing Procore documentation, including RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and correspondence
- Assisting in procurement, negotiation, and letting of subcontractor packages
- Managing head contract and subcontractor variations and claims
- Overseeing project close-out procedures including final accounts and handover documentation
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
