About the Role: Ampcontrol is looking for a driven Electrical Estimator to join our Power & Infrastructure team in Tomago. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and challenge. You'll be involved in preparing budgets and tenders, engaging with customers, supporting pre-engineering activities, and contributing to progress reviews. Your scope will include a diverse range of work, from large-scale capital projects to, replacements, and budget estimates. You'll be central to the tendering process, where your attention to detail and relationship-building skills will directly influence our success. What You'll Be Doing: * Preparing detailed and accurate budgets, quotes, and tender submissions * Liaising with customers to ensure alignment on project scope and expectations * Participating in project reviews and supporting pre-engineering efforts * Managing multiple tender types for different sectors of the Power & Infrastructure business * Ensuring all estimates comply with standards, contracts, legislation, and budget requirements * Building and maintaining strong client relationships to improve win rates and business growth About You: You're a proactive problem solver with a strong customer focus and a technical mindset. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for someone with: * Electrical trade background or engineering qualifications (advantageous) * Hands-on experience with HV/LV electrical systems, plant, or equipment * Exposure to the electrical infrastructure and renewables industries (a plus) * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first approach * Prior experience preparing electrical tenders and estimates (advantageous) * Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Employee Benefits: At Ampcontrol, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
