Electrical Transmission Estimator Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Transmission Estimator to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of EHV/Transmission installations, including overhead conductors and insulators.
  • A proven track record in providing technical solutions and costing for electrical engineering environments is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Compiling comprehensive estimates from specifications and drawings within defined timeframes.
  2. Conducting site surveys and risk assessments to identify potential problems and financial implications.
  3. Evaluating options and alternatives to deliver accurate and efficient solutions.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of Overhead EHV/Transmission installations.
  • Previous experience in estimating roles or delivery backgrounds involving National Grid or DNO/IDNO/ICP connections projects.
  • Formal training in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or other relevant subjects is advantageous.
