
Wellbeing & Psychological Safety Advisor

The Wellbeing & Psychological Safety Advisor will be responsible for the oversight of A&G's employee wellbeing program, through promoting best practice initiatives and processes to support the mental, physical, and financial health of A&G staff. This role supports the safety culture and encourages staff to utilise tools to improve and maintain optimal health and work-life balance.
Brief Description
The Wellbeing & Psychological Safety Advisor will be responsible for the oversight of A&G's employee wellbeing program, through promoting best practice initiatives and processes to support the mental, physical, and financial health of A&G staff. This role supports the safety culture and encourages staff to utilise tools to improve and maintain optimal health and work-life balance.
Position Accountabilities- Lead the advocacy, promotion, and facilitation of health, safety, and wellbeing activities as part of the employee wellbeing strategy
- Embed a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across the organisation through a demonstrated commitment to the physical, mental, and financial wellbeing of the A&G workforce, whilst also assisting in the broader People & Culture Strategic Plan.
- Design and coordinate an integrated health and wellbeing program for all A&G employees with emerging evidence and new opportunities to support the workforce.
- Participation in WHS and broader People and Culture innovation and collaborative activities.
- Prepare reporting on key performance indicators, specifically provision of monthly reporting on the status of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
- Development and revision of policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to the Health and Wellbeing program.
- Participation in projects and other duties as assigned and requested by the P&C leadership team.
- 2 - 5 years' experience
- Experience in Wellbeing and psychological safety in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to balance conflicting priorities of demanding and diverse client groups within a changing environment
- Ability to engage effectively with leaders at various levels.
- Resourceful logical thinker with excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to deliver expected outcomes and initiatives and act on opportunities for improvement
- Skilled in integrating information, analysing data, and providing clear, engaging summaries of key insights.
- Advanced skill level in MS applications and HR systems (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Team oriented, and results focused
Location - This role is available at any of our Brisbane (North Lakes) and Sunshine Coast (Kawana) locations, providing flexibility to choose the office that suits you. Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options, while our North Lakes offices are within walking distance of some of the north side's best retail locations. If you love a view of the water, why not consider our Kawana office on the edge of Lake Kawana and only a five minute drive to the closest beach.
