Overview

OSHC Coordinator – Holiday Care Program, Spring Vacation Care across Brisbane, Gold Coast and surrounding areas (various school locations) for The Extend Group. This casual contract role is with Extend and VillageOSHC (part of The Extend Group). The Spring Vacation Care program runs from 18 September to 3 October. Salary: $37 - $43 Per Hour + Superannuation. Get paid more — an extra 10% above award with the Workers Retention Payment.

The Opportunity

Extend and VillageOSHC are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated OSHC Coordinator on a casual contract to join our teams across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and surrounding areas (various school locations) for our Spring Vacation Care program running from 18 September to 3 October. Bring your energy, leadership, and passion for working with children, and help us create a fun, safe, and memorable holiday care experience.

If you are available during the school term, there is also potential for ongoing work in our term-time programs.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service.
  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
  • Strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options.
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
  • Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues, the children, families, school leaders, and the school community.

What You'll Need
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in children's services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent.
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Checks (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (or willing to obtain) CHCPRT001/CHCPRT025.
