Overview

OSHC Coordinator - Holiday Care Program. Spring Vacation Care is just around the corner and this casual contract role is available to join our teams across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and surrounding areas (various school locations) for our Spring Vacation Care program running from 18 September to 3 October. There is also potential for ongoing work in term-time programs.

Base pay range: A$37.00/hr – A$43.00/hr. Get paid more with an extra 10% above award through the Workers Retention Payment. The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience; talk with your recruiter to learn more.

The Opportunity

Extend and VillageOSHC, part of The Extend Group, are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated OSHC Coordinator on a casual contract to join our teams across Brisbane, Gold Coast, and surrounding areas for the Spring Vacation Care program.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service
  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational
  • Maintain a strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community

What You'll Need
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in children's services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent
  • A current Employee Working with Children Checks (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain) CHCPRT001/CHCPRT025
