Overview

Territory Manager, Acute Care and Monitoring – Medtronic, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Join Medtronic to lead with purpose, drive sales growth and market share in acute care and monitoring within your territory, including Sunshine Coast, Redcliffe, Caboolture, Bundaberg region, and Brisbane.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders
  • Pursue leads, assess customer needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits of Medtronic's products and/or services
  • Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services
  • Conduct market research including customers and competitors' activities
  • Implement market development plans/strategies and adjust as needed
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry
  • Proven sales experience selling capital equipment and/or consumables into hospitals is preferred
  • Solid understanding of the public and private healthcare systems and experience working within Operating Theatres is desired
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to build relationships with surgeons and medical staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with good time management and ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Self-motivated with a resilient attitude and drive to exceed customer expectations
  • Active driver's license and own vehicle
