Forest, is our restaurant set overlooking a lush, tropical rainforest. The menu reflects our unique sense of place, with over 80% of our ingredients sourced within a three-hour drive. We believe that food is best enjoyed slowly and shared, with a bottle of locally sourced wine or vibrant cocktail in hand.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a new Bar Supervisor to work alongside a passionate and supportive hotel team. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, your passion is cocktails, and you know your way around a drinks menu. You will assist in leading the team and creating a bar experience that keeps our guests wanting more.

You will collaborate with our guests by:

  • Creating an outstanding experience for the bar team and guests.
  • Providing a warm and genuine service experience.
  • Anticipating and responding to tricky requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner, coaching your team to do the same.
  • Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Drink guides.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a skilled and ambitious bar supervisor who can display:

  • Considerable experience in premium bar environments.
  • Previous bar supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and specialty in high-quality service.
  • Great attention to detail, being one step ahead of guests' needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.
  • The passion to take on other ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Friendly and confident communication skills.
  • NSW RSA essential.
  • Available across various shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 12 months.
