Elements of Byron is an award-winning Beach front resort, nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise in Byron Bay in the Northern Rivers of NSW. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will assist with the implementation of the housekeeping strategy for the resort. The position provides an opportunity for you to use your skills, experience, leadership and initiative skills to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in all of our guest rooms, public and service areas.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Motivate, mentor and train the housekeeping team
- Assist with the implementation of SOP's
- Complete Room checks to ensure standards are met prior to release
- Hands on role; complete cleaning tasks such as, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of showers, making beds
- Allocation of daily tasks and completion of administrative duties and reports
- Handling and resolving guest complaints
- Assist with rostering and scheduling
- Performance manage the team
- Work effectively with other departments

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor within a Resort/Hotel environment
- Full availability including weekends and public holidays
- A people person who is able to build rapport
- Be self motivated and use initiative
- Ability and confidence to train and supervise a large team, up to 80 employees
- Experience using hotel systems such as Opera/Hirum/Optii
- Experience with resort buggies and a current drivers licence

Salary $70,000 + Super
