Salary: $149,739 to $173,174pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the operations of the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) in both the Sydney CBD and Parramatta. As Executive Officer, you'll play a vital role in shaping strategic initiatives and driving service excellence across a high-profile jurisdiction.
What you'll do- Lead and develop the registry team, with a proactive approach to issues management and a strong focus on performance improvement.
- Oversee critical projects and contribute to strategic initiatives, including analysing operational data and providing high-level advice to the President of the IRC and Executive Director, Superior Courts.
- Prepare and manage high-level communications, including briefings, reports, submissions, and notes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the IRC, liaising with stakeholders and coordinating responses to meet critical deadlines.
- Implement, monitor, and report on strategic, operational, and project plans to support informed decision-making.
- Research and prepare strategic advice and reports on complex policy, planning, and operational matters.
- Lead or contribute to projects aligned with organisational objectives, including the development and refinement of administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Proven leadership in managing complex operations within a service delivery environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and policy development capabilities.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and provide timely, relevant advice.
- Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
