Executive Officer - Superior Courts of New South Wales

Location: Dual location – Sydney CBD and Parramatta

Employment Type: Ongoing full time

Salary: $149,739 to $173,174pa. Plus, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the operations of the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) in both the Sydney CBD and Parramatta. As Executive Officer, you'll play a vital role in shaping strategic initiatives and driving service excellence across a high-profile jurisdiction.

What you'll do
  • Lead and develop the registry team, with a proactive approach to issues management and a strong focus on performance improvement.
  • Oversee critical projects and contribute to strategic initiatives, including analysing operational data and providing high-level advice to the President of the IRC and Executive Director, Superior Courts.
  • Prepare and manage high-level communications, including briefings, reports, submissions, and notes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the IRC, liaising with stakeholders and coordinating responses to meet critical deadlines.
  • Implement, monitor, and report on strategic, operational, and project plans to support informed decision-making.
  • Research and prepare strategic advice and reports on complex policy, planning, and operational matters.
  • Lead or contribute to projects aligned with organisational objectives, including the development and refinement of administrative systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality outcomes.
