Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Manager – Day Shift
Location: Wacol, QLD, 4076, AU

Lead Moco's critical day shift operations (6am–6pm) and manage inventory receival including quality control and putaway. Drive stock accuracy, sorting, and a small click-and-collect function. Lead Moco's day shift warehouse team within our multi-temperature food storage facility to keep operations running at full speed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Moco's day shift operations (6am–6pm).
  • Manage inventory receival including quality control and putaway.
  • Drive stock accuracy, sorting, and a small click-and-collect function.
  • Lead the day shift warehouse team across a multi-temperature food storage facility to maintain fast, reliable operations.
  • Oversee incoming supplier deliveries, product breakdowns, and sorting to ensure stock is received accurately and located correctly.
  • Support preparation of warehouse and inventory for the Night Shift Picking team.
  • Coordinate inventory transfers with the meat processing facility in collaboration with the Moco Meats team.
  • Embed continuous improvement through strong controls and processes to reduce waste, keep inventory lean, and improve operational efficiency.

You thrive on accuracy and efficiency, with a proven ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational results. You'll inspire your team, set high standards for stock integrity and safety, and be analytical and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.

Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • Safety focused with demonstrated improvement in safety performance through team engagement and safety initiatives.
  • Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing management, ideally within FMCG, food services, or wholesale.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams while driving KPI achievement.
  • Knowledge of perishable goods handling and FIFO stock rotation.
  • Strong systems capability with WMS and reporting tools (Excel desirable).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Work within Moco's brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Wacol, with on-site parking.
