We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Administrator to manage the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of our Geraldton-based business. This is a key role within our management team, offering the chance to make a real impact.

About Us

Twomeys Mining & Engineering is a metal fabrication, maintenance and labour hire company servicing a wide range of industries, with mining making up the bulk of our client base. We operate from a fully equipped workshop in Geraldton and pride ourselves on quality service, practical solutions, and strong community ties.

The Role

This full-time permanent position is available for an immediate start and will see you lead the financial and administrative functions of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all day-to-day accounting functions
  • Leading a small administration team
  • Managing job costings through to invoicing
  • Monitoring debtors and managing accounts receivable
  • Handling banking, insurance, and finance operations
  • Reviewing and managing financial contracts
  • Preparing regular financial reporting and cash flow strategies for Directors
  • Ensuring accurate and compliant financial data entry
  • Staying up to date with payroll, tax and super legislation

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Practical experience in a similar accounting/administration role
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Solid communication and leadership skills
  • Time management and the ability to work to deadlines

Desirable:

  • Experience with Sybiz Vision and Visipay
  • Background in mining, engineering, construction or workshop environments
