ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) are looking for a Scheduler to be based out of our Laverton North or Lynbrook site
You will be supporting our supply of reinforcing steel to varied projects across multiple segments of the construction industry. You will interact directly with customers and internal departments, to determine customer needs and ensure accurate supply of reinforcing steel to projects of all sizes.
Salary Range: $82,000 - $86,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate customer requirements in conjunction with Sales, Planning, Production and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects.
- Generate bar, cutting and bending lists from the structural and architectural drawings
- Work with customers to ensure drawings and production schedule meet customer needs
- Identify potential production or product solutions, and negotiate changes with customers to reduce scheduling and production costs
- Manage enquiries from customers regarding product status and delivery
- Ensuring strong relationships with customers, internal and external team members

You Will Have The Following Characteristics
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years within a similar role
- Previous exposure to engineering or construction
- Demonstrated mathematical skills
- Strong ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Passionate about building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Excellent time management and attention to detail skills to maintain customers delivery programs
- A self-motivated, proactive, and resilient mindset
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam is highly regarded
- Exposure to ARMA or ASA software is advantageous
