Maintenance Scheduler

Lochard Energy is seeking a proactive Maintenance Scheduler to support our energy storage operations. In this role, you will develop and manage weekly maintenance schedules to ensure smooth and reliable operations. This position is ideal for a local to Warrnambool or someone who enjoys travelling along the Victorian coastline.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of scheduling experience using MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with Maximo or similar systems (preferred)
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Trades experience in fixed plant maintenance or projects within mining, oil, or gas industries, with a recognized trade certificate (preferred)

Job Responsibilities

  1. Produce weekly maintenance schedules and facilitate planning meetings
  2. Schedule work scopes to optimize outages, understanding plant system boundaries
  3. Utilize and update Maximo for planning, scheduling, and execution of work
  4. Collaborate with planners to understand job requirements and constraints
  5. Manage long-term planning and scheduling (6–18 months outlooks)
  6. Review scope of work, contractor plans, and schedules to develop shutdown schedules with logical execution sequences
  7. Create baseline schedules and progress S curves
  8. Support the planning team and collaborate across teams and contractors
  9. Review progress against plans and milestones to ensure on-schedule delivery
