Our client is a well-established boutique firm offering a full range of financial services including taxation, superannuation, business advisory, and wealth management. With continued growth and a loyal client base, they are now seeking a senior tax professional to take ownership of client engagements, deliver proactive tax advice, and ensure compliance across various structures.

Key responsibilities include:


• Preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs


• Business activity statements, financial statements and tax planning


• Delivering strategic tax advice and structuring recommendations


• Managing client relationships and acting as the key point of contact


• Mentoring and supporting junior staff and reviewing their work


• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and client value

To succeed in this role, you will bring:


• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or Tax Consultant in public practice


• Strong working knowledge of Australian taxation law and compliance


• Ability to manage multiple client files and priorities independently


• Hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB Essentials, and ideally APS/AO


• SMSF and Simple Fund experience is highly desirable


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive mindset
