Senior Accounting and Tax Specialist

Job Title:
A Business Services Tax Professional is required to provide expert accounting and taxation services to small business clients across Australia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian tax law and be able to communicate complex financial information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing expert advice on taxation and accounting matters
- Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborating with specialist teams, including bookkeepers and accountants
- Directing the work of Client Account Managers and managing queries
Requirements:
- Tertiary accounting qualifications, professional membership (CAANZ, CPA, IPA)
- Good knowledge in small business accounting and tax, preferably with companies and trusts in a public practice environment
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Xero and Xero Practice Manager (or other cloud software) experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the Australian tax system
