The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will collaborate closely with business owners, providing expertise across several areas that may include, but are not limited to;-

• Preparing & reviewing Board packs and reviewing management reporting to support clients in achieving their business goals.
• Meticulous preparation or reviewing of Financial Statements and tax Returns for Companies, Partnerships, and Trusts.
• Review BAS and IAS returns to ensure accuracy.
• Address CGT, GST, and Div 7a issues in year-end compliance work.
• Mentoring junior staff and supporting their technical development.
• Working closely with managers, partners, and cross-functional teams across Prime's divisions.

Qualifications & experience

• CA/CPA qualified (or currently pursuing certification).
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Australian accounting, ideally from a mid-tier or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative approach.
• Desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
