Overview

Join Australia's largest pharmacy retailer in a critical finance leadership role. We're looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Financial Reporting Lead to support our Group Finance and Tax teams with tax effect accounting, statutory reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

This is a high-visibility role, working directly with senior leaders and making a real impact across our fast-growing ASX-listed business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead tax effect accounting for monthly, half-year, and year-end cycles.
  • Prepare/review statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and provide technical guidance to subsidiaries.
  • Partner with the Tax team on disclosures, compliance, and technical research.
  • Drive automation, standardisation, and continuous process improvements.
  • Mentor junior staff and support cross-functional learning.
What you'll be looking for
  • CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years' experience in financial reporting and/or tax.
  • Background in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm (audit or tax).
  • Strong expertise in tax effect accounting (AASB 112 / IAS 12).
  • Experience working with large corporates or listed groups.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
