About the Role

Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Consultant in our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Advisory team, starting January or July 2026

The CFO Advisory team works with a range of organisations including large corporates, listed entities, and governments. We collaborate with Boards, executives, management, and notably CEOs and CFOs to enhance and transform their finance functions and financial practices.

Our team partners with other BDO services such as IFRS and Corporate Reporting, Consulting, Risk Advisory, and Projects & Infrastructure. This provides opportunities to engage in diverse projects like establishing new entities for infrastructure projects, supporting long-term financial sustainability, transitioning finance systems, and preparing financial statements for large, international clients.

What you'll do

As a CFO Advisory Graduate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with finance function advisory and transformation projects
  • Preparing financial statements and supporting audit procedures
  • Assisting with finance system selection and implementation
  • Developing financial, management, and project reports
  • Occasionally acting as part of a client's finance team

Eligibility

To qualify, you must be:

  • In your final year or have recently completed an Accounting, Business, or Commerce (with an Accounting major), or other relevant CA/CPA eligible degree
  • Available to start in January or July 2026
