Responsibilities
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies that drive value, ensure supply certainty, and support Coates' broader business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand category needs, analyse procurement spend, assess markets, and drive supply chain improvements.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including RFX, contract negotiation, performance management, and supplier governance.
  • Manage supplier relationships across the lifecycle, focusing on performance, compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor category performance through reporting, KPI tracking, and ongoing identification of value opportunities and supply chain risks.

What You'll Bring To The Role
  • 3–5 years' experience in procurement, ideally within a complex or industrial environment, with exposure to contract and category management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in blue-collar or operational settings, with proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Track record of delivering sourcing solutions that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical skills; experience with Tableau is a plus.
