About the Role:

As the Operational Policy & Procedure Lead, you are responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of operational policies, procedures, and delivery frameworks that support the effective delivery of CPA Australia's professional education programs. Working closely with the broader delivery team, and other internal stakeholders, this role supports operational planning, ensures consistency in delivery practices, and upholds regulatory compliance across all aspects of delivery through operational planning as well as policy and procedure management.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures aligned with program delivery objectives and regulatory obligation
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of operational frameworks to ensure they remain current, clear, and compliant
  • Collaborate with legal, professional conduct, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, while considering regulatory obligations including responsiveness to regulatory changes
  • Support the development, management, and maintenance of a high-level delivery schedule for professional education programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, resource availability, and academic calendars
  • Ensure awareness of the delivery footprint and its dependencies
  • Ensure quality assurance is embedded within scheduling and policy development processes to support consistent, reliable, and high-quality program delivery
  • Develop and maintain quality plans that guide the creation, review, and execution of delivery schedules and operational policies
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of scheduling practices and policy frameworks through performance metrics, stakeholder feedback, and audit findings

This opportunity is for a fixed term of 24 months from commencement

About You:

You will come to us with proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing operational policies and procedures within a complex organizational environment, as well as:

  • Strong background in operational planning and scheduling, preferably within an Education or professional services context.
  • Experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement practices, including the use of performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to drive enhancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships across legal, compliance, and delivery functions.
  • Experience in assessing the impact of operational change to support policy and procedural evolution
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills
