Allied Health Clinical Educator – Grade 4

Overview

Join BRHS as an Allied Health Clinical Educator Grade 4 to guide students and early-career clinicians across East Gippsland through evidence-based education and support. Lead meaningful change in clinical education while collaborating with a wide network of health and academic partners.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning and provision of clinical educational support to Allied Health Teams across BRHS and other East Gippsland public health services.
  • Advise, lead and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of education to support students, early graduate and graduate staff in Allied Health Science and Therapy Departments.
  • Serve as a resource for staff in the provision, management and supervision of student placements, including support for managing underperforming students.
  • Regularly review government, health sector and tertiary requirements to ensure compliance with directions and data/funding reporting requirements.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
  • Current qualification as an Allied Health Professional with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 5 years' professional Allied Health experience, with a preference for 10 years or more.
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment or completion of a graduate certificate in education or health professional education or willingness to undertake.
  • Proven ability to lead the development of evidence-based clinical education programs that encourage professional growth and high standards of clinical practice.

  • Contract: Ongoing, Part Time 64.0 hours per fortnight.
