Overview

Responsibilities
  • As a BRHS Dental Assistant you will contribute to the provision of a high standard dental care to eligible public patients by assisting in the day to day running of our busy dental practice including activities associated with sterilisation services, surgery, stock room management and oral health promotion.
  • Support the Smile Squad program and ensure a high standard of practice in a modern, 6-chair clinic.
Contract

Ongoing, Part-Time, 72.0 hours per fortnight. Job share will be considered; please specify your availability in your application.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting course
  • Minimum 12 months previous work experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills of a high level

About the Department

The Oral Health Clinic consists of a modern and well equipped 6 chair surgery located within the Community Health Complex in Ross Street, Bairnsdale. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm and supports the Smile Squad program.
