Are you a strategic commissioning leader with a talent for driving high-impact health projects? We're looking for a UCC Commissioning Program Lead to lead the end-to-end delivery of four new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (UCCs) across South Eastern Melbourne.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for establishing project governance, managing procurement and risk, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored health solutions that meet urgent care needs in our community.

About the Role

As UCC Commissioning Program Lead – Projects, you will:

• Lead the planning, procurement, establishment, and implementation of four new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (UCCs) across South Eastern Melbourne.
• Develop and manage project governance structures, risk mitigation plans, and project timelines to ensure the successful delivery of services by the end of 2025.
• Collaborate across SEMPHN business units, including Procurement, Finance, Data and Evidence, and Communications, to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
• Provide high-level project reporting, documentation and strategic advice to internal leadership and external stakeholders, including the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
• Work closely with the UCC Commissioning Senior Program Officer to ensure integration of current UCCs into a consistent and future-ready model of care.
• Influence and engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are strategic, evidence-informed and community-focused.

About You

You're a strategic and experienced leader in health commissioning, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end process—from service design and procurement to implementation and evaluation. You're confident working at pace, managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and delivering results in tight timeframes.

You bring:

• Proven experience in health commissioning within government, PHNs, or the not-for-profit sector.
• Strong project management skills, including governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across diverse teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing high-level reports, presentations and project documentation.
• A clear understanding of the primary health care environment, particularly urgent and community-based models of care.
