Overview

Centre Manager - Mayfield Early Education Allenstown (Fixed Term)

Mayfield Early Education Allenstown is currently seeking a passionate Centre Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. You will ensure the smooth running of our well-regarded Centre, providing the highest level of care to our children and their families. This is a personally rewarding role where you can impact the lives of many. You will be valued for your ongoing efforts, commitment, leadership, and dedication to your role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the centre to ensure high-quality care and education for children and families.
  • Provide effective leadership, guidance, and support to staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with early childhood standards and regulations (EYLF, NQS, Child Safe Standards) and maintain appropriate records and reporting.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment aligned with the centre's pillars: Connected by Community, In Safe Hands, Quality Education You Can Count On, Home Away from Home.
  • Oversee enrolments, scheduling, and centre resources to support program delivery and family engagement.
Qualifications
  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor equivalent in Early Childhood.
  • Valid Blue Card
  • Current First Aid or CPR Certificate
  • Child protection Training or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of Child Safe Standards
  • Red Nose, Food safety, SunSmart training or willingness to obtain

  • Demonstrates strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Has extensive knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Rating and Assessment
  • Understands and applies Child Safe Standards
  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality education and care
  • Radiates positivity, energy, and approachability
  • Available to work 38 hours per week between Monday and Friday, 6:30 am – 6:30 pm up to mid January 2026
