Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time hybrid role for a Speech Therapist based in Kingswood, Regents Park and North Parramatta. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing personalized therapy plans, maintaining accurate records of client progress, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. The role also involves providing support and counseling to clients and their families.

Qualifications
  • Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills in speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Willing to learn from other team members and internal PD opportunities
  • Comfortable seeing a varied caseload of children and adults
  • Ability to develop and implement personalised therapy plans
  • Strong record-keeping and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide support and counseling to clients and families
  • Collaboration skills with other healthcare providers
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
