Business Intelligence Developer

Excellent opportunity to join the team as our Business Intelligence Developer where you will be given the opportunity to deliver accurate & informative reporting to assist in business decision making along with maintaining & improving the data warehouse and other internal databases.

The opportunity based at our National Support Office in Ballarat

• Design data analysis & reporting solutions to respond to specific business needs
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve Power BI and Cognos reporting solutions. Writing complex SQL queries using T-SQL and Informix SQL
• Creating and maintaining ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, Azure Logic Apps, and other relevant tools
• Undertaking data studies requiring the integration of data from multiple sources to identify trends and create accurate & clear insights
• Provide strategic guidance & recommendations for business strategy and tactical improvements via regular dashboards, reports, and briefings based on data analysis, trends, and best practice
  
  

If you have the below experience we would love to hear from you

• Demonstrated ability at developing reporting solutions using Power BI, Cognos, and/or similar
• Advanced query skills with T-SQL
• Experience developing and maintaining Tabular models (Analysis Services or Power BI)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with excellent trouble shooting skills and attention to detail
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into business contexts
• Demonstrated ability to identify trends and communicate these to the business
• Ability to continually improve on the reporting processes and quality of information
• IT / Business degree qualified and/or relevant experience
• Experience with Logic Apps and/or SQL Server Integration Services
• Experience with Pronto-Xi ERP or similar
