A government organisation in Wollongong is seeking an HR Advisor to support their team with key administrative HR functions. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on supporting day-to-day HR activities. You'll be the first point of contact for HR enquiries and play a vital role in maintaining smooth HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the HR inbox
  • Respond to employee enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct criminal history checks and ensure compliance with relevant protocols
  • Provide general HR administrative support
  • Apply knowledge of awards and employment conditions where relevant
About You / Requirements
  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor or HR Coordinator role
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in government or public sector environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with award interpretation and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
