The Role

Be part of a highly skilled and committed team driven to help young people realise their potential, with the opportunity to work across a multi-campus school setting.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying students' learning needs, skills, and difficulties as they arise and working under the guidance of the relevant Individual Needs Advisor to respond to these concerns.
  • Maintaining confidential weekly student notes on Microsoft Teams to monitor their progress.
  • Understanding a student's identified learning difficulties and offering assistance in the classroom.
  • Liaising with Individual Needs Advisor and the teaching staff to maintain a comprehensive support program and track student progress.
  • Assisting students to deal with adjusted curriculum where necessary under the guidance of the classroom teacher and the Individual Needs Advisor.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and respond to different learning needs and strengths of all students in classrooms.
  • Demonstrated ability to form a positive rapport with staff and students and build collaborative relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency using business software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including managing time and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience working with children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background.
  • Recognised Education support qualification preferable.
  • Highly organised with a 'can do' attitude to all projects.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
