Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About The Role

In this pivotal role, you will provide case management support utilising a client-centred and problem-solving approach to people on bail with a range of complex needs who are participating in the CISP program to engage with their rehabilitation and achieve positive behavioural change. To do this, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Communicating hope and optimism for change and applying a person-centred and evidence-based approach to support and enhance the client's motivation.
Engage with clients through assessment and treatment planning to develop a person-centred individual support plan.
Possess knowledge of the safe and effective delivery of evidence-informed interventions.
Ability to assess and manage risks.
Ensure clear communication, documentation, information security and confidentiality.
Skilfully work with diversity in a way that displays respect and cultural sensitivity and ensuring that services are delivered in a way that is family/person-centred, and responsive to and inclusive of the diverse needs and backgrounds of all clients.

About You

You will be an experienced case manager with expertise in providing client centred, strengths based and solution focused support. Your other strengths will include:

Extensive experience in the assessment and case management of clients with complex needs.
Demonstrated capacity to provide a culturally responsive and inclusive service to clients.
Demonstrated client engagement and management skills, including motivational interviewing techniques.
Excellent case formulation and written communication skills
