The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is a statewide Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, servicing children, young people, families, and community members in Victoria. Established in 1977, VACCA is the largest organization of its kind, advocating for the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. As Victoria's peak voice for these children, VACCA has a longstanding commitment to their protection and promotion.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chirnside Park, VIC for a Case Manager. The Case Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring case plans for children and families. Daily tasks include conducting home visits, maintaining accurate case notes, providing advocacy and support services, and collaborating with community resources. The Case Manager will work closely with children, young people, and their families to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and cultural connection.

Qualifications
  • Experience in case management, social work, or related fields
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor case plans
  • Knowledge of child protection, family support, and community resources
  • Understanding of Aboriginal cultures and the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal communities
  • Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, or a related discipline
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
