The Role:
Based in our Sydney office, this varied role is responsible for working with the regional Salesperson to maintain an accurate project portfolio, through quote development, order processing, factory liaison, procurement of supplies, arranging shipments and chasing deliveries. Build relationships with our key clients through always providing excellent customer service.
The Person:
- Experience in customer-facing role.
- Previous experience in project management/coordination – ideally within the construction industry
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach to work
- Ability to fiercely prioritise and can multitask effectively
- Exceptional communication skills; can build relationships with ease
- Demonstrated the ability to respectfully influence stakeholders at all levels
- Has a 'roll your sleeves up' approach to work - will never shy away from challenge
- Respects the views of others – seeking out different opinions where possible
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sales Executives to ensure quotes are provided to the customer in an accurate and timely manner. Build the quotes – liaising with relevant internal teams where necessary.
- Process customer orders accurately and in line with internal protocols.
- Ensure projects are created and kept up to date on Salesforce – with the correct owner and secondary owner assigned, all comments are recorded and changes logged.
- Engage with the Design & Manufacturing Design team at the appropriate point of the project.
- Act as the liaison between factories and the customer to overcome issues and determine build and delivery dates.
- With the support of the Salesperson, expertly handle customer complaints in a professional and sensitive manner – liaising with internal stakeholder to resolve issues promptly.
- Build and maintain sound technical knowledge of the SAS product range. Through attending regular training sessions. Maintain good knowledge of the construction industry.
