Reporting directly to a General Manager, you will be a key member of the agency's executive, contributing to the continued transformation of the agency and providing high‑level advice to the CEO and Minister.
We are looking for flexible and versatile leaders with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgement, strong customer focus and the ability to engender respect and trust. Candidates should be driven to continuously learn, innovate and achieve outcomes in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑level leadership and management within the agency, contributing to strategic direction and transformation initiatives.
- Offer expert advice to senior executives, including the Chief Executive Officer and Minister, to support decision‑making.
- Lead across areas including strategy, program management, service design, corporate functions and service delivery.
- Foster a culture of learning, innovation and outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality government services.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
- Australian citizenship is required to apply.
- Pre‑employment screening including identity and criminal history checks will be conducted.
- Ability to obtain an Australian Government security clearance to the appropriate level for the position.
- The roles may be filled on an ongoing or non‑ongoing (fixed term) appointment.
- A merit pool may be established to fill similar roles as they become available within an 18‑month period.
- Location: consideration given to candidates residing in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth; other locations may be considered by exception.
- Employment type: Full‑time; Senior Executive Band 1 level with an attractive remuneration package, including 15.4% superannuation and salary packaging options.

- Generous leave provisions, including accruable annual leave of 23 days per year with the capacity to purchase an additional 4 weeks' annual leave per year after 12 months of service.
