Through its Community Development team and CÜRA Community Services, MCCGC is committed to delivering high standards of customer service. The organization supports mainstream and CALD communities across the Aged, Disability, and Community service sectors.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Settlement Case Manager located in Southport, QLD, with some work-from-home possible. The Settlement Case Manager will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs assessments, developing and implementing case plans, coordinating services, advocating on behalf of clients, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves liaising with community organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.

Qualifications

  • Experience in case management and providing direct support to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse communities and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of cultural competency and issues affecting migrant, refugee, and CALD communities
  • Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, or related field
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the Aged, Disability or Community services sector is an advantage
  • Proficiency in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
