About the roleAs a Data Analyst, you will work within the remediation and regulatory reporting team on investigating, identifying potential root causes of issues, and reconciling reporting. You will report to the remediation program manager and collaborate closely with Business Analysts and other developers across data and IT streams.
In this role, you will support the data lead in planning, managing, and delivering high-visibility, critical projects for Rabobank, which are reported to senior management, the Board, and regulators, and are essential to the execution of the RANZ strategy.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Support customer remediation investigations through business and data analysis
- Drive solutions supporting tactical and strategic initiatives
- Conduct impact assessments for regulatory breaches and business issues
- Create visualizations and storyboards from data analysis results
- Explore automation opportunities
- Perform reconciliation and analysis for regulatory reporting
- Reconcile complex issues with problem-solving skills
- Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to map data requirements and understand business needs
- Coordinate with internal IT teams to implement solutions
- Maintain a real-time schedule of analysis for incidents, using strong analytical skills to deliver outcomes
- Interrogate data feeds to identify and resolve data issues and non-compliance with data standards
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or IT
- Experience in a similar IT business role
- Proficiency in SQL queries (SQL Server/Oracle) for data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Experience in financial reporting and regulatory analysis
- Support data validation and reconciliation for remediation payments
- Knowledge of core banking systems such as Temenos, T24, and XML data (preferred but not essential)
- Experience gathering data requirements, documentation, and end-to-end testing
- Critical thinking and presentation skills
